If you have questions about this Policy or how we process your data, please contact us at the email above.
Depending on your interaction with us (website visit, form submission, sample order, email, phone), we may process:
Identification & contact data: name, company, role, email, phone, country/region.
Order & service data: sample/order details, product interests, application segment, delivery info, communications.
Marketing preferences: newsletter opt-in/opt-out, topics of interest.
Website/technical data: device/browser info, IP address, pages viewed, timestamps, referral source, cookie identifiers, and aggregated analytics.
Support correspondence: messages you send us (email, forms) and our replies.
We collect data directly from you (forms, email, phone) and automatically via cookies/analytics when you use our website.
This information is collected through forms and surveys on our website.
We use your personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:
To provide products, samples, and services (e.g., handling enquiries, sending samples, fulfilling orders, customer support).
Legal basis: Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and/or legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) to operate our business.
To communicate with you (service updates, technical notices, responses to queries).
Legal basis: Contract / legitimate interests.
To send marketing communications (newsletters, product updates) only if you consent or where permitted by law. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and/or legitimate interests where applicable.
To improve our website and services (usage analytics, performance, security, troubleshooting).
Legal basis: Legitimate interests (to maintain and improve our services) and consent for non-essential cookies.
To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory, recordkeeping).
Legal basis: Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site and understand how it is used. Non-essential cookies (including analytics) are only set with your consent via our cookie banner.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure traffic and usage patterns. GA4 generally aggregates data; however, it may process identifiers such as IP address (with IP anonymization/ truncation features where configured).
You can adjust your preferences any time via Cookie Settings on our site and/or by using browser settings. For more on Google’s processing, see Google’s privacy resources.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as necessary:
Service providers (processors): hosting, website maintenance, IT/security tools, analytics, email/newsletter platforms, CRM. They act under written data-processing agreements and only on our instructions.
Group/affiliates and business partners: where needed to serve your request (e.g., technical support), subject to appropriate safeguards.
Professional advisors and authorities: auditors, legal counsel, regulators or law-enforcement where legally required or to protect our rights.
A current list of key processors is available on request.
Our operations and certain service providers may involve processing outside the EEA/UK (for example, in the UAE or with vendors that store data in the EU but have support teams elsewhere). Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as:
EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and UK addendum (as applicable); and/or
Adequacy decisions (where the destination is deemed adequate); and/or
Derogations (Art. 49 GDPR) where strictly necessary (e.g., to perform a contract you request).
You can contact us to obtain a copy of the relevant safeguards.
Note: If your previous policy stated “We do not transfer personal data across borders,” that is rarely accurate with modern tooling (e.g., analytics, email platforms). The clause above reflects a more realistic and compliant position.
We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where feasible, least-privilege access, staff confidentiality obligations, vendor due diligence, and incident response procedures. No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve our safeguards.
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including statutory limitation and accounting/tax retention periods. When no longer needed, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize the data.
Indicative periods:
Customer/contact records: up to 5 years after last interaction (unless a longer legal period applies).
Marketing contacts: until you withdraw consent or we determine inactivity (then we suppress further sends).
Order/accounting records: 5–10 years to meet legal obligations.
Subject to conditions and applicable law, you have the right to:
Access your personal data and obtain a copy.
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erase data (“right to be forgotten”).
Restrict processing.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing at any time.
Data portability for data you provided to us by consent or contract and processed by automated means.
Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior lawful processing).
To exercise your rights, contact ingredients@denico.dk
. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Denmark, this is Datatilsynet (the Danish Data Protection Agency).

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you (for example, by email if you are subscribed, or by a prominent notice on our website). Please review this page periodically.
